Melissa and I have taken the week off.
Melissa and I have taken the week off. Originally, Diane and I had planned to visit family in Florida. Because of omicron we were convinced not to go. Nonetheless, I need some down time and hope it will be possible here. So, the office has been closed this week. We scheduled this newsletter last week.
The greatest news is that we are VERY CLOSE to reaching our December Appeal goal. Thank you! Please know that last week I met with two candidates for the positions that we hope to fill. We’re still in the process of interviewing applicants and you should feel free to spread the word. See the link to the job descriptions below.
Given that it will still be awhile before we can resume our more public events I encourage you not to despair. We will get there! Please put on your calendars the following events at Sanctuary!
March 20. Spring SOULstice and Outdoor Event
April 10. Canine a Hora, a Dog Celebration! Bring your pets!
May 22. Lag B’Omer Festival
June 5. Am Kolel Shavuot First Harvest and Earth Festival , 3-7PM
This weeks Parsha is called Vaera. Since it is New Years Day we will begin at 10:30.
We learn how Moses overcomes his doubts in light of the huge tasks he has before him. He musters up the courage to address Pharoah. How can we muster up our own strength to battle the Pharoahs before us.
Kadimah into 2022!
In faithful solidarity,
Reb David 🥂
